This run would normally take me over an hour because some of the hills are very steep, today however, I did not allow myself to stop, more so allow the pain to accentuate while i reflect upon "some what" the slightest of how a soldier would have felt climbing the hills with heavy equipment all in the name of "Sacrifice" for the freedom which we have today. Sure.. we all at some point have anger, resentment, disappointment, jealousy.. but we need to remind our self the loss of self worth which these feelings bring upon us. I think it's not only a time for Australians and New Zealanders to reflect upon such commiserating times, but for everyone to look back and offer each other the sign of peace. Today we look at each other in the eye, and without saying a single word, we offer each other the sign of peace. And may we be reminded of today every other day. And may peace be with you.
