In basketball, 2 teams of 5 players are played to score by shooting a ball through a hoop raised 10 feet above the ground. Basketball is played on a rectangular ground called the court that include hoop at each end. The ground is separated into 2 main parts by the mid-court line. When a team places the ball to the play behind the mid-court line, the opposite team gets 10 seconds to get the ball over the mid-court line. If the opposite team not able to get over the ball, then the defence team achieves point. When the team gets the ball over the line, it will lose the possession of the ball in the rear area of the line. If it happens, then the opposite team is given the ball.
